Notes

  1. 1.

Keyboard-proximity suggestions use the Norwegian-QWERTY grid — the same Nordic physical layout as Danish, where real å æ ø keys replace the US bracket and semicolon keys.

  2. 2.

The fastText ONNX model fasttext.nb.onnx is available for semantic reranking of suggestions, converted from fastText cc.no vectors, which are Bokmål-dominated.

  3. 3.

The ISO macro-language code no resolves to this same Bokmål module in the language registry; resources cache under nb, so setup and checking use the nb key.

  4. 4.

Nynorsk — nn — is a separate dictionary and a separate model in the registry; the two written standards of Norwegian never share a cache.

  5. 5.

The Kelly frequency list is published under the no key rather than nb, so kotoshu setup nb skips frequency; ranking leans on the dictionary and the model.
